Lawyers revealed what they were told just hours before her appearance

KATIE Price has been threatened with jail after dodging another court hearing over her bankruptcy.

The ex-glamour model, 45, was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court today.

But at the start of the hearing, it was revealed Katie told lawyers less than 24 hours ago she couldn’t attend.

A barrister told the judge: “It’s quite apparent that the evidence was filed very late and not even filed with the court.

“We are in a very serious situation as a consequence. She may be held in contempt of court, imprisoned, fined or a warrant issued for her arrest.”

Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time last month over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

In a separate dispute, she was mandated to allocate 40 percent of her earnings from OnlyFans for the subsequent three years. The ruling specified that this percentage of her income would commence deductions starting from April 12.

Scheduled for today, she was anticipated to provide testimony to a judge regarding her financial status to demonstrate her ability to settle her debts.

Katie was previously declared bankrupt in November 2019, with debts of £3.2million.

She now faces losing her £2million Sussex pad, dubbed her Mucky Mansion, or face the wrath of bailiffs.

Katie Price recently announced her decision to undergo her 17th surgery, this time to reverse what she referred to as her “biggest ever” boob job.

In a separate incident last month, Katie failed to appear in court and was subsequently fined £880 for driving without a licence or insurance. Additionally, she was ordered to pay a £352 victim surcharge and £620 in court costs, amounting to a total of £1,852.

The incident occurred when Katie was captured on CCTV driving a Range Rover on August 2 along the A14 bypass in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Amidst these legal matters, Katie is currently romantically involved with her new boyfriend, JJ Slater, and there are reports suggesting that they are already making plans to have a baby together.

Katie’s full name is actually Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield.

The mouthful of a moniker was chosen by Katie’s mum, Amy, who loved the beautiful names and wanted Katie to have them all.

Mum-of-five Katie explained to The Guardian: “Mum must have had a lot of gas and air during my birth, with the number of names she gave me.

“Katrina Amy Alexandra Alexis Infield? It’s a lot. I hated them so, at 17, I changed it. Katie Price suited me better, thanks very much.”

Katie Price, formerly known as Katie Price, made the decision to change her name at the age of 17. This choice stemmed from her biological father’s departure from their home when she was only four years old.

Following her mother’s remarriage to Paul Price, Katie opted to adopt his surname. Initially, she used the name Katie for a short period before ultimately deciding to change it once more, this time to Jordan, as she embarked on her career in glamour modelling.

However, she also acknowledged that adopting the name served to shield her family from public scrutiny, particularly her mother, who was working in the City at the time and preferred to keep their relationship private.

As Katie matured, she decided to move away from the persona of Jordan and undergo a rebranding. Despite this transition, she expressed discomfort when people failed to use her full name in interviews, emphasizing her preference for being referred to as “the model formerly known as Jordan.”
