Guests enjoyed steak, sea bass and Italian-style sharing platters plus £500 bottles of bubbly

DAVID Beckham paid tribute to his “inspirational” wife Victoria in a heartfelt speech at her 50th birthday party.

Victoria was moved to tears when her ex-England football captain husband, Becks, expressed admiration for his “role model” partner in front of 100 guests, which included her fellow Spice Girls.

The father of four, 48, also captured her singing with her bandmates on Saturday night — marking the first time all five are believed to have been together since 2018.

Son Cruz, 19, who has recently embarked on a music career, passionately performed a cover of their 1996 hit “Mama” at Oswald’s in Mayfair, central London.

Victoria, nursing a broken foot, was eventually carried on David’s back out of the private members’ club around 2:30 am, among the last to depart.

They departed in a waiting car with their children Brooklyn, 25, Cruz, and Harper, 12.

The party, estimated to cost around £250,000, was filled with heartfelt moments. “David expressed how Victoria has always been a significant inspiration to him,” a source revealed.

“He spoke of her incredible role as a role model and her outstanding dedication as a mother. The kids also took the opportunity to express their gratitude for everything she’s done for them,” they added.

Guests indulged in a lavish spread, including steak, sea bass, Italian-style sharing platters, and bottles of bubbly priced at £500 each, before hitting the dancefloor.

Posh, Scary, Sporty, Ginger, and Baby Spice surprised everyone with a routine to their 1997 hit “Stop,” a moment that Victoria later shared online.

Victoria shared her excitement online, posting: “Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.”

According to sources, the band, who hadn’t performed as a five-piece since the 2012 Olympics, were the “life and soul of the party.”

One attendee added, “They had to make up for lost time – and they did exactly that. The girls were having the time of their lives.”

The playlist featured other hits like “Wannabe,” “Say You’ll Be There,” and “Who Do You Think You Are,” ensuring the A-list guests, including actor Tom Cruise, partied late into the evening.

Movie stars Eva Longoria — Harper’s godmother — and Salma Hayek also danced to salsa music with Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Marc Anthony, who is Cruz’s godfather.

David and Victoria’s son Romeo, 21, left around 2am while Spice Girls Mel C and Emma Bunton exited hand in hand after Geri Halliwell.

Yesterday, Mel B, who was joined by hairdresser fiancé Rory McPhee, posted a video online, adding: “About last night #tourdatescomingsoon.”

Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz was unable to attend but shared an image of her with mother-in-law Victoria.

Spice Girl Mel B ‘takes swipe’ at Victoria Beckham after claiming Geri Halliwell is ‘lying about her age’

Although Victoria Beckham was a vision in a mint green dress of her own design, her nagging foot injury forces her to remain on crutches

AS one of the chosen few who attended Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday bash, you’d think Mel B would have been discreet in her choice of words.

But in typical scary fashion, Mel has put her leopard print foot in it, by making a dig at Victoria’s age.

Writing on social media, the 48-year-old told her 1.6 million followers about her eventful weekend.

She said: “Been epic, Victoria Beckham’s 60th birthday yesterday to meeting my competition winners at @roryjameshair spa day to you @emmaleebunton and @jadejones who made my night/long weekend complete.”

Clearly, this is a faux pas, given that it was, in fact, Victoria’s 50th birthday party, and it’s not the first time she has riled up the Spice Girl sisterhood on the subject of age.

Last month, she exposed fellow band member Geri Horner for consistently lying about her age.

She revealed how at the height of The Spice Girls’ fame, when they were flying around the world, Geri would be protective of her passport so that the others couldn’t catch a glimpse of her real age.

Speaking on the Olivia Attwood podcast, she said: “No one knows how old Geri is. No one’s seen her passport. I mean, I know we’ve traveled the world, but I still don’t know how old she is. She claims she just had her 50th birthday, but I don’t believe her.”

The Spice Girls reunited at Victoria’s exclusive birthday bash over the weekend at the private members’ club Oswalds in Mayfair, just a stone’s throw from her flagship Dover Street store.

During the party, The Spice Girls delighted guests by performing their hit song Stop, which was caught on camera by Victoria’s husband David Beckham.

Writing on his social media beneath the video clip, the former Manchester United and England Midfielder said:

“I mean come on x @victoriabeckham, @melaniecmusic @officialmelb, @emmaleebunton @gerihalliwellhorner,” accompanied by colorful heart emojis.

Indeed, Mel, who keeps dropping hints that the girls are set to reunite for some gigs ahead of their 30th anniversary, teased her followers further by saying: “Tour dates coming soon.”

Fashion guru Victoria also shared the clip, writing, “best night ever” Happy Birthday to me, I love you all so much.”

She also seemed delighted to be back together with The Spice Girls, writing on social media, after the event she said:

“The best gift to be reunited. Thanks to all my friends and family for celebrating with me.”

As well as the fashion designer’s close friends and family, including her four children, some Hollywood power players were also present, including Tom Cruise, actress Salma Hayak and Victoria’s close friend, the actress Eva Longoria.

David Beckham’s best friend and sports agent, Dave Gardner was also present, posting snaps of him and his mates grabbing a kebab at the end of the night.

Declaring it ‘the best night ever’, Victoria had to be carried out of swanky Mayfair private members’ club Oswald’s by her husband David at 2:30am.

Her ongoing foot injury meant she had rely on crutches for her glam entrance hours earlier, but luckily David was on hand for a piggy back as the night came to a close.
