BILLY Ray Cyrus has finalized his divorce from ex-wife Firerose, and the pair have reached a divorce settlement.

The Australian singer will get $0 from her estranged husband in the divorce.

Billy Ray, 62, and Firerose, 36, signed their divorce documents in Tennessee, according to TMZ.

The pair, who married in October 2023, were declared divorced on Monday morning.

While Firerose did not get any money up front from her former husband, Billy Ray has agreed to hand over his claims to credits and royalties from any songs they wrote and published together.

According to the outlet, Firerose – born Johanna Rose Hodges – changed her name to Cyrus.

Billy Ray reportedly believes she only married him for his last name.

“This has been absolutely the most crazy insane scam I have ever heard of. Let alone the fact I’m right in the center and basically the target of the scheme,” the Achy Breaky Heart singer said in a statement via his attorneys to TMZ.

“It’s unfortunate it played out this way. Not only was it a web of lies that put me in physical danger, it was a matter of the heart. Love is blind, that’s for sure.”

AGGRESSIVE AUDIO

Billy and Firerose’s split was ugly from the onset, but things between them got especially heated in July when audio believed to be of the Some Gave All singer berating his estranged wife was leaked.

The leaked audio featured a man believed to be Billy arguing with Firerose about being late to an event.

A source confirmed the event was a Nicki Minaj concert, per People.

Billy was invited to perform at the show, which took place in Tennessee.

“It’s 9:15, you idiot. I needed to leave two hours ago,” the man said in the audio.

“No, you didn’t. You can still leave and get there in time,” Firerose responded.

In the audio, the man thought to be Billy Ray appeared to shout at Firerose, “Shut the f**k up,” and called her a “f**king selfish b***h.”

“If you had just left it the f**k alone, now I’m really f**king p***ed , once again showing you will not listen,” the male voice went on.

He continued, “I don’t think you’re real smart, I’ve changed my mind on that s**t. That I think you are is a selfish f**king b***h. That’s what you are.”

“Please stop screaming at me,” the voice believed to be Firerose begged at one point.

“What a dumb ass [you are] … ’cause you have to know I will not tolerate that s**t. You just f**ked up…f**k you. You know better than that. F**king idiot,” the male voice added.

Billy Ray released a statement after the fact, addressing the leak.

“Hell yeah, I was at my wit’s end. As every day went by, I started realizing something was wrong. And that’s before I knew she was a fraud,” he said in his statement posted to his Instagram Story and via his rep.

“I just knew something wasn’t right. That was before I knew she was David Hodges’ ex-wife. That’s before I knew her parents’ last name,” he added.

The musician claimed, “everything I thought I knew about her, was a lie,” and alleged that Firerose “was trying to take over my career, my life and usurp the Cyrus name for her own gain.”

Firerose also addressed the controversy online.

“This week has been monumental in many ways and I’m so appreciative and thankful for the outpouring of support,” she said on Instagram.

“There are so many great experts, books & resources on healing.”

She continued, “I promise there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep educating yourself.”

The man in the clip also appeared to call Miley a “devil.”

She has not addressed the comments, or her fractured relationship with her father.

CALLING IT QUITS

Billy Ray filed for divorce in May, listing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct as the reason.

He also filed for an annulment, citing fraud.

A month later, he accused Firerose of charging $96,000 to his credit card in 37 different charges.

He requested a temporary restraining order in an effort to avoid her making any more charges on his cards.

Additionally, Billy Ray accused Firerose of being unfaithful.

The couple had been married just seven months at the time, exchanging vows in October 2023.

“Billy and Firerose were always fighting and the relationship was intense and toxic at times,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.

“Billy accused Firerose of cheating and it was the final straw for him.”

Per the insider, Billy’s children – Miley, Noah, Brandi, Trace, Christopher, and Braison – did not approve of the relationship.

They “never understood the relationship,” according to the source, and were confused as to why Billy rushed into marriage.

“Miley is hopeful this will give some peace to the family and she thinks this is a good step in the right direction for him,” the source continued.
