Yesterday, there was acknowledgment from Diddy regarding an incident involving his former partner Cassie back in 2016.
This acknowledgment was prompted by the release of a video by CNN depicting a physical altercation in a hotel corridor, previously detailed by Cassie in a lawsuit against Diddy, which was settled for an estimated $30 million.
Critics found Diddy’s apology lacking sincerity, particularly as he did not mention Cassie by name.
This omission was due to a stipulation in the settlement preventing either party from publicly naming the other.
Consequently, Cassie has refrained from commenting on the apology.
Nonetheless, this confidentiality clause does not extend to private conversations, and Cassie’s legal representative has indicated her willingness to cooperate with authorities if necessary in any legal proceedings against Diddy.
