SANTO DOMINGO, República Dominicana — La comisión del gobierno de República Dominicana que supervisa los espectáculos públicos está prohibiendo un concierto de Miley Cyrus el 13 de septiembre por motivos de moralidad.
La comisión dijo en un comunicado el jueves que tomó la medida porque Cyrus a menudo “realiza actos que van en contra de la moral y las costumbres, que son castigados por la ley dominicana”.
Las entradas para el concierto en la capital, con precios que van desde los 27 hasta los 370 dólares, están a la venta desde julio.
Algunos críticos han declarado que las payasadas de Cyrus en el escenario, incluyendo el twerking y los agarrones de entrepierna, son vulgares.
Un representante de Cyrus no respondió de inmediato a una solicitud de comentarios. Los organizadores del concierto en República Dominicana no hicieron comentarios sobre la prohibición.
La comisión en el pasado ha prohibido emitir en el aire canciones que considera vulgares, incluyendo algunas de Calle 13 de Puerto Rico.
